Didn't 'expect' such a deep slide today in INDU, worse day ever!  Rather than have an expectation and try to trade to it, should have just stuck with the strat which would have resulted in -30 or so today - such a newbie mistake in 'expecting' a certain result.   14 contracts and -179.87.

Today was a fairly wild day today with INDU starting up >+60, dropping to -60, then zooming back up.  Exited early today and missed a much bigger gain.  8 contracts traded today and +15.62.

Today was another fairly calm day to start until the latter part of the day.   Exited early today and missed much of the gain but it's summer and I wanted to stop early and go by the downtown pen store to indulge my other passion and pick up some unique new ink for my fountain pen collection.  3 contracts traded today and +11.44.

This blog will follow my journey on trading.  I created this page to track my trading online so that I can have an archive to show my trading results. 

About me:
I've been dabbling in trading since about 2008 but only seriously started doing it since 2011.  I've traded a diverse group of securities including stocks  and derivative but primarily trade stock options.  I'm going to focus on broader trading ideas without revealing exactly what I bought and sold and when.  Feel free to writing any comments you might have or any questions you might have but don't be offended if I don't address questions about when I bought and sold a particular security.
